2016 Scholarship

We had another great year of applicants for Joe’s scholarship, which gives $10,000 to a college-bound Fordham Prep senior. The goal of the scholarship is to try and find a young man who embodies Joe’s passion for academics, sports, and community, and I think we succeeded. This is the note that we got from the 2016 recipient:
Dr. and Mrs. Chow,
I wanted to write to you and tell you how excited and happy I am for being selected as the Joseph Lawrence Hai-Sung Chow scholarship recipient. Thank you so much for selecting me for this generous award. Your son sounds like the exact kind of person I want to become as I grow older and this award will definitely help me reach my academic goals.
